Confirmation
Confirmation occurs during the 7th and 8th grade years in school. The Confirmation program helps 7th and 8th graders learn more about the Bible and their faith while forming important relationships with their peers, pastors, and youth staff. Along the way, students not only learn about their faith, but make it their own. Confirmation includes weekly meetings during the school year on Sundays at 10:45 AM, guided by our pastor and teachers, as well as several youth trips, retreats and camping experiences. Students celebrate their affirmation of baptism on the first Sunday in June.
Our youth are not the future of the church; they are the church now! There is no better time or place to instill a sense of Christian purpose, and no time when our youth need more support in navigating the transition to adulthood, than in middle school and high school. For this reason, our Youth Group offers significant opportunities to grow spiritually and socially in a safe and supportive environment. Youth events include meetings at church, retreats, camps, conferences, and trips. Bring your friends – everyone is welcome!
